This is a totally new concept and as far as we’re aware, possibly the first of its kind in the world. For most people, we have no chance (it’s mostly illegal) to interact with corals at this hands-on level.
Eco-focused coral reef project. Guests will have the opportunity to get involved directly with coral propagation. We will be harvesting damaged corals, rehabilitating them and assisting damaged reefs by re-propagating them with stabilised healthy new corals. We will be working in pristine remote locations in the Andaman sea, Thailand and interacting with coral gardens that have been damaged by human or natural events to help maintain and strengthen our reef systems.
Dive the spectacular Koh Ha Cavern, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang mid-ocean sea mounts and other beautiful locations such as Koh Roc Noc Marine Park, while giving back to the planet. 4 day shared or private live-aboard adventures on the good ship “Willow” 35,000 baht per person with three crew and a maximum of four guests, all dive equipment and a healthy lifestyle menu included. We have certified “Sea Shepherd Dive” Coral propagation Instructors on board and work in conjunction with the Marine department of Thailand and Sea Shepherd Dive. Overview of Willow Sailing Adventures-Conservation Project
Itinerary:
Early morning residential pickup, time as advised with booking
- 10:00 : Depart Au Chalong pier (Chalong Bay)
- 10:25 : Dolphins hunt on our highly successful search for great photos’
- 11:45 : Arrive at Monkey Beach Phi Phi, snorkelling and kayaking, dinghy ride to the beach in water fun activities
- 13:00 : Buffet lunch on board with comfortable seating and great food.
- 13:30 : Visit the Viking Cave.
- 14:00 : Koh Bida Nok, snorkelling, and optional SCUBA diving
- 15:00 : Cruising through the Loh Samma Bay stunning cliffs
- 15:20 : Maya Bay after the crowds for snorkelling, kayaking, dinghy to the beaches
- 16:30 : Depart Phi Phi for Phuket
- 18:00 : Arrive back to Au Chalong Pier for taxi return to residence
Your tour includes complimentary two-way hotel transfers; pickup times vary depending on your residence and will be listed on your booking confirmation.
