Overview of Hin Daeng & Hin Muang – 3 days Safari

Discover beautiful islands on boards and dive around the breath-taking diving sites of the astonishing underwater world of the southern part of the Andaman Sea. The diving sites named Phi Phi Island, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang are ideally suited for diving lovers.

Make 3 days cruise by the vessel MV Giamani to visit powdery white beaches of Phi Phi/ Koa Haa and some of the most spectacular diving regions at Hin Daeng & Hin Muang.

This expedition covers 7 dives over 2 days including the dives around Hin Daeng (Red Rock), Hin Muang (purple Rocks) and Koh Haa with its sublime beauty of ‘the Cathedral’ & ‘The Chimney’ as well as dives around Koh Phi Phi , Shark Point and Koh Mai.

Itinerary:

Day 1: departure day – every Friday

Around 17.30-18.30hrs, you will get picked up from hotels and Phuket Airport. Get transferred to the pier in Chalong.

Around 19.00-20.00hrs, you will board MV Giamani. You will listen to welcome briefing and meet the crew.

Around 20.00hr (08.00pm) you will enjoy your first dinner on board while departing for Koa Haa.

Day 2: Ko Haa / Hin Daeng / Hin Muang (Total 4 dives)

Wake up early in the morning and have your breakfast. Take 2 dives around the underwater mountains of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang with a check dive at the beautiful sites of Koa Haa. Afternoon will be kept flexible for the third dive. The weather and sea condition as well as the number of ‘big fish’ will determine the third dive for the day. Either we will stay around Hin Daeng / Hin Muang or sail back to Koa Haa for a sunset or night dive. After this last dive you’ll have your dinner while cruising to Phi Phi Island. You’ll enjoy whole evening by relaxing, watching a movie or reading a book. It is also a time to fill your logbook or simply have a few beers or enjoy the company of your fellow divers. Stay overnight on one of the isolated bays.

Day 3: Phi Phi Island (Total 3 dives)

Your final day on board of MV Giamani will start with 2 dives either around Koh Bida Nok or around Koh Bida Nai at the south end of the Phi Phi Island chain. We will stop at the remarkable diving site of Shark Point encrusted with excellent soft coral.

You’ll take the last dive around Koh Doc Mai which is a huge limestone rock and one of the best wall dive sites with beautiful macro in this area. After this final dive, MV Giamani will continue sailing back to Phuket while you will pack gear, log dives, or have a relaxing drink with friends. Around 16.00hr, you will arrive at Phuket and continue with a transfer to hotel. Or you’ll have now time to discover Chalong Bay or chill out on the board until departure if you continue for the Similan Island Cruise.

Remark: Why not covering the south as well as the world-famous SIMILAN Island, just by combining the 5 days cruise MV Giamani to an exciting 7 days/ 6 nights cruise.

Note:  Schedule and Itinerary depends on the weather conditions, the discretion of the Cruise Director and Captain as well as on currents, dive sites activities, light, objective, sailing times etc.

Prices included:

Transfers to and from MV Giamani within Phuket Island, full board accommodation, all meals served onboard including snacks, softdrinks, drinking water, tea, towels, dinghy for onshore exploration and pick ups, tanks, weights and weight belts, professional Tour leader, Divemaster and Instructor, torch for the night dive, total of 7 dives.

Prices not included:

Any international or domestic airfare, National Marine Park fee* (payable on board),  rental diving equipment, Nitrox, PADI / SSI Diving courses, alcoholic beverages, Tip, diving insurance** or travel insurance***

Please book in advance if you need to rent a diving computer or underwater camera.

* Southern Island Marine National Park Fees

Normally there are no payments apply. Just keep in mind that these dive destinations belong to a Marine National Park. Therefore at can be happen that Park Rangers are coming along the vessel to collect Marine National park fee.

Fees are: 400 Baht for entry fee (divers and non-divers) plus…200 Baht per diver per day
Please note that the National Park Fee is set by the National Park and is subject to change without notice.
