Explore archipelagos of Thailand and Myanmar through the single tour on MV Deep Andaman Queen. To discover the Mergui archipelago, you should follow the immigration procedures of both countries Thailand and Myanmar. Maintain your log book with sea animal names that you have seen in the underwater around Similan and Mergui areas. Through this nice journey, you will able to differentiate the beauty between Similan and Mergui macros.

TOUR DETAILS

Overview of Thailand & Myanmar (Burma) – 8 days Safari

Day 1: Departure

15.00-18.00: Pick up all of you from Phuket, Airport or Khao Lak and transfer to the pier of Tablamu.

20.00: Provide you onboard lunch while cruising to Similan Islands.

Day 2: Similan Island, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai

Take your breakfast and perform 2 dives around Similan Islands. Have your on board lunch and perform 1 dive at Koh Bon. Enjoy another dive at Koh Tachai in the evening. Stay overnight on a secluded bay.

Day 3: Richelieu Rock & Surin Island – Myanmar

Get ready to take your first dive at the jewel of the area, Richelieu Rock. Later, perform another dive at Surin Pinnacle.

However, we will cruise to Thai border for checking out the border formalities. Head to Kawthung in Myanmar. After clearance of the marine border pass of Myanmar, we will cruise towards Mergui Archipelagos.

Day 4: Mergui Archipelago 

Take your breakfast and get ready to discover the underwater world around Mergui Archipelagos, Myanmar. Perform 4 day long dives around this archipelago. Lunch will be served in the midst of diving. Have your dinner at night and stay overnight on a tranquil bay.

Day 5: Mergui Archipelago

Explore world famous diving points of the southern Andaman Sea of Myanmar. Get 4 dives around other Mergui archipelagos and enjoy the underwater beauty. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be served on time.

Day 6: Mergui Archipelago 

Take your breakfast and get ready for performing more dives around Mergui islands. Explore more 4 points to enjoy the underwater beauty of Myanmar.

Day 7: Mergui Archipelago – Thailand 

Take other 3 dives around Mergui islands of Myanmar. After that, get prepared to return and follow the same process of border formalities of both Myanmar and Thailand. After entering Thai Andaman sea, stay overnight near Similan area.

Day 8: Richelieu Rock & Koh Tachai

Perform 4 dives around the Richelieu Rock & Koh Tachai. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner will be served on time. Stay overnight around this area.

Day 9: Koh Bon – Tablamu

In the early morning, take your dive around Koh Bon. If possible, we will add an extra dive at Boonsoong Wreck.

We will back to Tab Lamu (Tablamu / Taplamu) pier. Then, hotel transfer to Phuket, airport or Khao Lak area.

Note: Schedule and Itinerary depending on the weather conditions and the discretion of the Cruise Director and Captain and depends on currents, dive sites activities, light, objective, sailing times etc. The spots are possible, but not guaranteed.

Prices not included:

Any international or domestic airfare, transfers outside Phuket & Khao Lak to and from the boat, National Marine Park fee* (payable on board),  rental diving equipment, Nitrox, PADI / SSI Diving courses, alcoholic beverages, wine, Tip, diving insurance** or travel insurance***

* Similan & Surin National Park Fees

• 500 Baht for entry into the Similans or Surin (divers and non-divers) plus…
• 200 Baht per diver per day

Example for above trip:
Entry fee for Similan & Surin Island 500 THB x 2 entry = 1.000 THB
Diving fee   200 THB x 4 days = 800 THB
Total (payable on board) 1.800 THB

Please note that the National Park Fee is set by the National Park and is subject to change without notice.

* Myanmar Entry and Visa permission

We enter Myanmar (Burma) under a license agreement from the Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. Passengers for these dive cruises do not need a visa, but are required to pay an entry fee of 200 US$, Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
